History started with Mide 1960 where general electric, Bells Lab, and MIT university worked on a project for making OS and Computer for multipurpose work.
Then some of the developers made UNIX.
Then BSD, GNU, and MINIX were born after UNIX.
Today Linux is the clone of Unix and working on the same philosophy of UNIX.
macOS, ios are using darwin kernel and this was inspired by BSD and UNIX.
