Ingredients
2 cups Sunflower Seeds
3-4 tbsp. Water

Recipe
Roast the sunflower seeds on a medium flame for a few minutes, stirring continuously. You'll know the seeds are done when the colour begins to change to slightly golden.
Transfer the seeds to a plate and let them cool down.
Grind them into a powder, making sure the seeds have broken completely and turning into a paste. You have to keep a close eye on this step, you don't want the seeds to blend into butter.
Transfer the ground seeds to a big bowl and start kneading it. Add a tablespoon of water and knead. Don't add too much water in one go. We are adding water to make the kneading easier and oil extraction faster. Knead, knead, knead and oil will begin to appear. Add another tablespoon of water and knead. Transfer the mixture between the palms, and squeeze to extract the oil.
Strain the oil and store it in an air-tight glass jar.
Use it in dressings, to bake vegetables and potatoes, to toast bread, or in dips.
