Is this BETTER than the 39mm version? | San Martin SN0128 review

This is their Wine Red (burgundy) diver with the gold accents on the dial. It has a 41mm case and a 49.4mm lug to lug distance. Is this a watch you've been eyeing and possibly thinking of buying? Or do you think it's too big?
