In this short sunny day city walk in winter 2020 I am visiting Dusseldorf Kaiserwerth again. This time I am exploring the other side of the city close to the Rhine river on a typical (week)day. Kaiserswerth is one of the oldest parts of the City of Düsseldorf. It is located in the north of the city and next to the Rhine river. It houses the Deaconess's Institute of Kaiserswerth where Florence Nightingale worked. Kaiserswerth has about 7,000 inhabitants and an area of 4.71 km2. In this episode of my West Germany City Walk series I am trying again to capture more about the daily life of people in Germany. I hope you can relax and enjoy this walk. This place is located close to where I live and I might return in the future if you would like to see more of it.
