This video explores the work of Frank Chester and his contribution to the field of Sacred Geometry with the form known as the Chestahedron. His goal was to create a 7 sided form whose faces had equal area. Frank was successful in his quest.

My work with the Chestahedron, as explained in this video maintains the Phi ratio by not adjusting size of the faces to create equal areas. This means that the 3 kite shapes are three points of a 5 pointed star which contain the phi ratio that the combine with 4 equilateral triangles. I call it the Golden Chestahedron because of the golden proportions present.

I imagine Frank is aware of this version, yet he popularized the equal area version for other reasons related to equal area. Here, I showcase how the golden hexagon incorporates with the chestahedron, unlocking the discovery of a dual form associated with the golden version. I also describe how the chestahedron is draw in the seed of life, and also briefly look at how the same pattern is used to draw a dodecahedron accurately. I even look at a golden hexagon tiling pattern, and show of some colorful artwork of all the above.

Overall, the video is full of new discoveries. Frank's work aimed at revolutionizing sacred geometry, and taking it further with his discoveries. He modeled a highly creative path for a younger generation of geometers to aspire to. As geometers we have much to look forward to as we can continue to contribute to the pattern language of sacred geometry which often reflects our expanding consciousness as it shifts towards greater levels of wholeness and well-being for all.
