Crossing The Long Bien Bridge By Foot - Hanoi, Vietnam

The Long Bien Bridge was built by French colonists at the turn of the 20th century. It crosses the Red River and connects the districts of Hoan Kiem and Long Bien. It was repeatedly bombed by the US during the 1960s and now serves as a tribute to the Vietnamese resistance and resiliance.

I had travelled underneath it many times on my way to work but in this vlog, I walk across the bridge after taking a look at the local market and enjoying an egg coffee.

Join me as I cross the Red River on the historic Long Bien bridge.
