What is the best acrylic paint for an artist? As favorite art supplies go, having a good quality artist acrylic paint (as opposed to less expensive brands, which are often thinner) is the way to go! Wondering which artist acrylic paint is best?

My favorite type of paint has rich color, and is thick enough in texture as to not have to paint multiple layers to remove brush strokes. It's well worth the extra money this brand may cost as to save yourself time while actually painting!
