Braun Nizo Professional Super 8 Movie Camera 1975

In 1975 the "Nizo professional" was released by Braun.
They announced it as a their top model and "compact camera", which in view of the large 12x zoom,
which now featureds macro from front lens
seems a little understated despite two kilogram of weight.

The Nizo professional runs alongside 1, 18 and 54 pictures at 25 frames per second.
Together with the built-in 50 hertz generator so pilot pulses according to DIN 15 575 can be delivered.
But also a 1000 hertz oscillator is part of the basic features.
Here arises either at every or every fourth image, a control pulse.

All in all, the "Nizo professional" offers all the conceivable lip-sync versions in five switch positions.
This gives her a unique position on the Super 8 film camera market.

Long exposure are possible.
Frames are automatically exposed as long as the amount of light required by a special light meter in the front panel window.
Thereafter, automatically the next film image is picked up and released by the bright sector of the rotary shutter for recording.

Static motifs without hand-held exposure meters, fiddling and calculation are excellent for filming.
Unfortunately, the camera lacks of a frame counter,
which is completely incomprehensible in the elaborately constructed time-lapse automatic.
