The R3Di® System prevents these interruptions and resolves power quality issues with up to 1 megawatt of on-site power generation and energy storage. It's the core technology behind e2Companies' Virtual Utility®, the first utility-grade network located at your facility.

The R3Di® System provides power to your site in three primary ways.

In standard mode, the R3Di® System is connected to a public utility. Our software continuously monitors the battery system and power quality, adjusting the flow of electricity through the output inverter to eliminate voltage drops and spikes.

The R3Di® System provides continuous, clean and conditioned power, and the generator ensures the batteries are charged and ready to pick up the full load requirement at all times.

When the public utility loses power, the R3Di® System picks up the load instantaneously from its battery energy storage system. The generator powers on to take over the full load for the facility and continues to run for as long as it’s needed.

The R3Di® System can also run independently of a public utility to reduce energy costs. Both the generator and battery energy storage system are running continuously.

The R3Di® System is inherently flexible, and can be connected to renewable energy sources, such as solar, wind or hydrogen installations, to improve reliability of these inputs.
