If you've been online in recent weeks, chances are you've seen the now-viral hashtag #EndSARS trending. The #EndSARS hashtag dates back to at least 2017, when people started using it online to share and trend their experiences of police brutality, extortion and killings at the hands of SARS(Nigeria's Special Anti-Robbery Squad). It is experiences like this that have accumulated to what we have now, the #EndSARS movement. What really gingered this protest, now a movement, follows from an October 8th viral video which showed SARS officers killing a young man in one of the country's southern states.

You might wonder why many of us outside Nigeria have joined in this cry for value for human lives. As they say, injustice anywhere is injustice everywhere. And so here we are, with our pieces for peace. Join the movement, add your voice. Together we say,
