The Graffiti Classics educational show draws upon the best of both aural and visual worlds, making it an unforgettable experience forchildren of all ages and abilities. A truly interactive show where the children can't resist but to join in singing, dancing, and toenjoy the fun of making music. Getting involved is what it's all about with the children being given opportunities to conduct, get up close to and even play the instruments. This string quartet is comprised of two violins, a viola and unusually, a double-bass. Every performance is adapted specifically for the learning needs of each group of children. Separate performances to different age groups are offered within the same school on the same day. Graffiti Classics can perform to up to 250 children in 1 workshop and offer up to 4 workshops a day. Best of all the expense and hassle of transporting the children to an outside venue is non-existent as Graffiti Classics comes to you.
Manic musician Cathal O'Duill pulled a few strings to get Leicester's Raw Talent Arts festival under way.


Graffiti Classics have travelled to schools throughout the UK, Ireland, Spain, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and Norway where they released an educational CD with Naxos to great critical acclaim. Graffiti Classics was founded in 1997 by Cathal O'Duill. Whilst street-performing in Covent Garden (London) he realised that classical music could be made fun for any audience through interaction and comedy. The company has developed a unique antidote to the preconceptions of classical music as stuffy and elitist and succeeds in bringing it to anyone and everyone whatever their age.

Graffiti Classics have a large international following and in 2010 have so far performed in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Tunisia, Sweden, Holland, Estonia, Spain, Italy, Norway, Denmark, Greece, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England. Graffiti Classics perform for a huge range of events, their varied work taking them from festivals, cruise-ships and concert halls to prisons, hospitals and schools; from weddings and parties to theatres and corporate do's.
