Fulltime Vanlife - Yinnar | Cann River | Eden

Started the drive back north from Melbourne, but heading up the coast road back to Sydney rather than driving up the boring Hume Hwy. Day 1 consisted of very strong winds that were making it risky to drive so I waited it out in a rest area for a few hours before the wind started to die down a little.

Pushed on to a "donation" campsite in Yinnar. Beautiful spot and an interesting little town to visit for a few hours. Not the best nights sleep again due to the wind howling and rocking the van all night.

After making some lunch in Bairnesdale, I continued driving along the Princes Highway until I spotted an interesting caravan park in Cann River. Turns out it was temporarily free, which was enough to coax me into staying for the night. There's a nice little walking track through the bush and along the river too.

Only a little over 1 hour to Eden then, so after a stop at Genoa Falls, it was on to Quarantine Bay which was a beautiful quiet spot for lunch. The rest of the day was spent at Eden Mountain Bike Park, sampling a few of the trails.

Friday was a sensational day. Windy but warm and sunny. Perfect for taking in the coastal sights around Eden. Plenty of Dolphins and a few seals.
