Companies climb a step ahead in success when the promoter himself is trying to increase stake in the company in which one has invested. That is happening with IndusInd Bank shareholders right now as the management has sent a disclosure stating intent to hike the stake in the bank. The promoters currently hold 14.68 per cent stake in the company. The cap on promoter holding in private banks is at 15 per cent. IndusInd International Holdings and IndusInd, promoters of the bank, will act as a vehicle to buy the shares directly from the market.
