Looe Island Cornwall – Series 16, Episode 9

We're back to relive another Time Team Classic, this week in the South West of England. The team descend upon Looe Island off the south coast of Cornwall in search of not one, but two lost chapels facing each other across the water. But, as always with Time Team, we end up finding much more than that!

Landscape archaeologist Stewart Ainsworth played an integral role in interpreting the site, and he joins Dani Wootton to share his recollections of the episode.

While Stewart isn't known for digging, that doesn't stop him taking a little dig at his long-time rival, John Gater. Some might say John had it coming, after his own jibes in the previous commentary!
