ACCURASCALE TRANS PENNINE SOUND

Описание к видео ACCURASCALE TRANS PENNINE SOUND

This video features Dapol 4F-022-021, a class 68 in Trans Pennine Express livery number 68027 "Splendid", together with ACC22352, a set of MK5 coaches, also in Trans Pennine livery. Together these recreate a train that Keith has travelled on. The loco is fitted with a Zimo MS440 decoder running a Digitrains sound project via a Rail Exclusive 55x20x10mm speaker. The coaches each have interior lights. These are powered from the track and can be switched on/off via a magnetic switch in the roof. There is on-board stayalive for these that provides 10 minutes (!) of light after the power has been removed. The Driving Van Trailer additionally has a 21-pin decoder interface for conversion to DDC-controlled white/red marker lights. Unfortunately, the stayalive does not support the decoder. Thus, whilst the interior lights are steady as a rock, the marker lights inevitably flicker. Despite no mention of it in the instruction sheets, there is also a speaker installed under the coach. This is rather weak so it has been augmented with a Rail Exclusive 26x20 x8mm speaker on the cab floor. A Zimo MX644 is installed. Finally, there are red tail lights on coach E (next to the loco) which cannot be turned off unless the interior lights are turned off!
