While somewhat controversial, I am a fan of the electric car. I understand the qualms and the downsides of them, but I also understand the benefits of them. Quite frankly, in OUR personal situation, an EV only works if we have a gas car as well.
With all that said, and while I try to remain unbiased in my review videos, allow me to speak my opinion; I LOVE the Nissan Ariya. I know the cross-over market is crowded, if not over saturated, in both EV and ICE vehicles, so it is hard to stay relevant, and I think, with the styling and offerings, the Ariya is doing that.
The Ariya does reflect Nissan’s first all-electric crossover vehicle. Outside is sleek and aerodynamic, with clever new LED lighting and all-new Intelligent Mobility Features, ProPilot driver assist features and overall safety feature upgrades.
Ariyas are available in both single-motor front wheel and dual-motor “e-4ORCE” all wheel drive variants with 63 or 87 kWh battery packs.
The all-new Ariya also builds on Nissan's strength as an EV pioneer and innovator, starting off with the groundbreaking Nissan LEAF, which, since its introduction more than a decade ago, has racked up global sales of almost 600,000 vehicles.
Not too long ago, we reviewed a more run-of-the-mill trim level of the Ariya, and now, we take a look at what a loaded trim looks like.
