So Much Better Than The Old Model! (MG3 Hybrid 2024 Review)

The new MG3 is a considerably better vehicle than the fairly cheap and nasty model it replaces. The old MG3 sold very well but it had a low safety rating and wasn't good to drive; the new one, at least in optional hybrid guise, is far better.

The new MG3 small hatchback has grown up, bringing a newfound hybrid powertrain option and a hike in pricing for the model once price from under $20K.

Kicking off from $23,990 before on roads, the new MG3 is offered in base Excite and high-spec Essence with a choice of either 81kW petrol power or a 155kW petrol-electric hybrid.

On test here is the Hybrid+ Essence, priced from $29,990 list and brings a host of standard features, 8.0sec 0/100km/h performance, claimed 4.3/100km combined fuel consumption and seven years of warranty for the well rounded value pitch.
