Evolve Onirique with BIGGER (97mm) WHEELS!

Описание к видео Evolve Onirique with BIGGER (97mm) WHEELS!

I got my Onirique with the orange 85mm Orangatang wheels and swapped out to the purple thinking I could get it to slide (but it turns out I am nowhere near that skill level) so I decided to throw on the 97mm wheels I had on one of my other boards to see how it would do. I also swapped out the gears from the 32 tooth to 38 tooth to avoid putting too much stress on the motors (also had to get some bigger belts because the smaller ones that came with the board wouldn't fit even with the motors all the way forward). In the end it all got installed and there was an option in the remote to set the Onirique to 97mm wheels with 38 tooth gears to keep mileage and speed accurate and I was off.

One of the motors is making some annoying grinding noises, I have swapped out all the bearings that I can and it is still happening so it has to be inside the motor. Still waiting on Evolve to get back to me on this but the board still works so I'm gonna keep riding it. This is an amazing little commuter board as long as your commute is less than 10 miles round trip, or you want to take your charger with you and charge while you are at work.

I will be running a range test next for both normal riding (sport mode with lots of stopping and accelerating and some mild inclines and declines) along with a max range test (eco mode on a flat asphalt track with minimal stopping and starting, maybe once every 5 miles to simulate a stop light or something). I may also throw it into GTR mode and do a test with a lot of acceleration and a lot of full throttle riding to see how the far it can go if you were to simulate being late for work heading in and being late for a hot date heading home.

I know the quality of the camera work is crazy but I was just out riding with my phone in my pocket when I decided to start rolling and share this with you all. I figured that if I was curious how this board would do with bigger wheels, you all might be too.

I think I will give the cloud wheel 110 rovers a shot on this board next with 40 tooth gears and possible a 1/4-1/2 inch spacer to see how it does... but I am a bit nervous how the board will do with that much higher of a center of gravity.
