EMT A400 Mixing Desk | MM40 Multioutput Mixsystem

This video shows another rare vintage german recording desk built by EMT (Elektromesstechnik Wilhelm Franz) in the early 1980´s. The EMT A400 is a 16+4 in 4 analog mixer with many nice features, a great build- and soundquality and a relatively small size. It was developed as an answer to the STUDER 269 mixing desk and has some common features, but adds some extras the STUDER 169 and 269 desks don´t have. The video gives some background information on EMT, explains the desks features and signal flow and finally shows the refurbishment process.

EMT didn´t build too many analog mixingdesks, so they are hard to find on the used market. Specially in this mint condition after a full vintagetools refurbishment.
