Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com Today I'm going to take a look at this NOCO 12-volt, 15-amp, three bank, waterproof, on-board battery charger. Now this is an on-board AC to DC smart charger, which will quickly charge and maintain up to three 12-volt batteries. So it is perfect for boats, trolling motors, generators, electric vehicles, and even industrial equipment. It is a nice completely sealed, waterproof design, which makes it fully submersible. So it's perfect for marine applications. And it is also tested to resist salt water corrosion.

Now this on-board smart charger will draw power from a wall outlet to charge and maintain multiple batteries at five amps each. The length on this, uh, AC cable is 72 inches. And it does come with three sets of heavy duty, three eights inch eyelet connectors here, that will provide maximum contacts when they're connected to your battery terminals. And the length of each one of these cords is also 72 inches. And if you notice on the individual wires themselves, they have inline fuse holders.

So they have built-in, seven and a half amp fuses on each wire to protect each connection against dangerous over current. Now I want to zoom in and talk about the charger itself. Has three battery banks right here that allow multiple 12-volt batteries to be charged simultaneously. Provides a full charge output even with low or varying AC current input. And it gives you multiple battery profiles that'll let you charge a variety of battery types.

They have 12-volt modes, normal, AGM, and lithium-ion. And then they also even have a force mode, which will charge dead batteries below one volt. Does use a multi-stage charging algorithm, which will charge two times faster than traditional chargers without overcharging. It'll analyze the battery condition to provide a customized charge for that battery. And it also offers a built-in battery desulfator, which restores lost battery capacity.

Now they do also offer an AC port plug, though that item we do sell separately on our website. That'll help you create a connection point for easy access to AC power. That AC port plug is listed on this product page as a related product. Few specs on this, the application is 12-volt batteries up to 120-amp hours. The battery types that this charger will support are wet cell, gel cell, AGM, enhanced flooded, maintenance-free, and even lithium-ion. Now the only thing is with lithium-ion batteries, you must have the BMS, which is the battery management system for this to work. Again the number of battery banks is three. Maximum charging amperage is 15-amps, which is five amps per battery bank. Maximum power consumption is 220 watts. This does have an IP68 rating. Few dimensions on this, I wanna give you the weight of it is just under six pounds, about five and three quarters pounds. And the dimensions on it, if we do the length from this end to this end, it's gonna be right at about eight inches long. Now the width if we include these cable ends that come out here, because they're pretty permanent it's gonna be about six and a half inches wide just the box itself is about five and three quarter inches. And the overall height on the unit is going to be right about two and one quarter inches tall.
