More Than A Stardew Clone - Eastward Octopia DLC Review (Spoiler Free)

The surprise 2024 DLC expansion for Eastward, titled Octopia, may simply appear as another Stardew Valley clone on the surface. However, in my playthrough, I found it was so much more than that. Rife with charm, humor, and a general calming vibe, this DLC (which might as well be considered a full game) will reel you with its easy-paced slice-of-life gameplay and immaculate blend of Studio Ghibli, EarthBound, and Bob Ross-inspired art direction. As you dig deeper below the topsoil though, there is a lot more to uncover.
