Maa Durga is said to be leaving for her heavenly abode on Dashami, today. But is she really not returning until next year? She's not an idol we worship, she's a phenomenon. Durga is in the single parent feeding 5 kids; Durga is in the child working 15 households in to feed her family; Durga is the person amongst thousands who broke stereotypes; Durga is the person who spoke up for her rights.

She is in the transitioning woman.
She is in the amputee without a family.
She is in the girl who refused to be called a victim.

Durga is in you. Durga is in us.
