John Lennon Tribute at Central Park

Fans pay tribute to the late Beatles founder, lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist John Lennon on the 43 year anniversary of his death at Central Park's Strawberry Fields in NYC. On the night of December 8, 1980, Lennon was shot 4 times by crazed fan Mark David Chapman as Lennon entered his residence at The Dakota on Manhattan's Upper West Side. John Lennon was pronounced dead a short time later at Roosevelt Hospital. The murder of John Lennon shocked the world. Strawberry Fields in Central Park was later dedicated in his honor.
