Testing the Storm Sail

Phil Sharp re-familiarises himself with the storm sail ahead of this year’s grand slam single-handed Atlantic race starting on Sunday. Before any transatlantic race it is crucial to test the systems and processes to ensure the sail can be flown quickly in the event of fast changing weather… The sail was last used in the 2016 solo transatlantic race from Plymouth to New York when he sailed through the eye of the storm #RDR2018
