In this episode, we are working on a PNY Elite Performance SD card that came in with an obvious physical issue that is very common for this type of card. When dealing with memory cards, we often have 2 options for recovery.
1. Recovery by SD interface - but for that the card's physical issue needs to be addressed to bring the function back
2. Chip-off recovery - when we recover data directly from the NAND Flash of the device using specialized programmers and software for logical image assembly

Since this client is not the owner of the card, I could not get all the details about what and how this happened, but our version of what happened seems to make sense.
