Sinnoh's Supersonic Smasher - Garchomp FOR SMASH! (Character Concept #31)

With the mix of a fantastic design, very strong competitive presence and being the star Pokemon of the most powerful trainer in the series, Garchomp is the shining definition of a Popular Pokemon who will stand the test of time, and with the release of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, this has become even more apparent.

There are plenty of iconic past-generation Pokemon that could work great in a game like Smash Bros, but I'd argue none would work as well as Garchomp, and to show that this isn't a bluff, let's talk about how Sinnoh's shining star could work in the world of Smash Bros.
