History Walks - The Church of St Mary Lymm

Описание к видео History Walks - The Church of St Mary Lymm

In the village of Lymm in Cheshire stands the church of St Mary. The site has had a church on it since the 11th century but in 1850 a brand new church was constructed from Cheshire Sandstone. However the Victorian construction saw the destruction of the 15th century nave and aisles and they were blown up using gunpowder !!!
Join James as he visits the site and takes a look at the 19th century church that stands today.
