The Shimano Nasci and Daiwa BG are some of the best fishing reels for $100 on the market. Either one of these reels are a great value and will work very well.

The BG features an all aluminum body, making it tougher and stronger than the Nasci, but also heavier. The Nasci as more composite and plasic, making it lighter and maybe not as durable. However the Nasci definitely feels smoother in the hands than the BG. Ultimately, if you are going to fish with mostly live/cut/frozen bait, you fish offshore, you are a captain, or you are rough on your gear, definitely go with the BG. If you mainly inshore fish with artificials and make a lot of casts, pick up the Nasci.
