While living in Madrid, Spain, we couldn’t miss the chance to take a day trip to Toledo — one of the oldest and most historic cities in Spain. 🏰 Just under 1.5 hours by train, Toledo is the perfect escape for anyone wanting to experience Spain’s rich cultural and religious history.
Known as the “City of Three Cultures” for its blend of Christian, Jewish, and Muslim influences, Toledo is filled with stunning medieval architecture, narrow winding streets, and incredible viewpoints.

We explored the breathtaking Catedral Primada de Toledo, the peaceful Paseo del Tránsito, and the beautiful Monasterio de San Juan de los Reyes. Crossing the main bridge into the city felt like stepping back in time, and every corner was picture-perfect.
