Chromakey or Green Screen - (English chroma key, chromakey [ˈkrəʊməkiː], literally - "color key"; from the Greek χρώμα - "color") - a technology for combining two or more images or frames in one composition, color electronic rear projection, used on television and in modern digital film production technology. With the help of chroma key, you can place people or objects on an arbitrary background taken in another place. The most well-known use case is in technology related to television weather forecasts, where an announcer speaks and gestures in front of another image. Also in everyday life, the screen itself is called chroma key, against which they are filming.
Green and blue screens are used as backgrounds when shooting photos and videos using Chroma Key technology, in which a solid background behind the subject is replaced by a different background in post-processing.
Shooting on a chroma key is shooting a person or adding visual effects against a solid color background. Then, by removing that color with digital keying, you can position your scene against the background of your choice in post-production. Removing a colored background is also called a color key.
