Sugar Aloes, (born Michael Anthony Osouna ) two-time Calypso Monarch of T&T began his singing career in 1979 at the Original Young Brigade Tent and became very popular from the mid-1990s through the 2000s with his political commentary in calypso form.
He won the Calypso Crown in 2002 with "Contribution" and "Jubilation Time," and in 2008 with "Reflections."
