how to make "tight" hyperpop

Here's a juicy vid where I make that tight, squeaky-clean hyperpop. This was a fun challenge figuring out how to make hyperpop with super short drums and had more rock influence than normal.

This video was inspired by two songs in particular: rock music by gabby start and selfdestruct by torr. There was just something about how clean the short drums sounded paired with glitch sounds and some rock elements that I liked. Both are definitely on my favorite hyperpop songs playlist 👍

I feel like this sound could be called many things, rock hyperpop or indie hyperpop or punk hyperpop. I don't really care for genre jerrys though, they exude big L energy.
