At this time of year, with autumn and winter on the doorstep, I like to give my gear a bit of TLC. Getting the outer layers reproofed ready for the rain and checking for any repairs that need to be made before the colder, wetter weather kicks in.

In this video, I show you how to reproof your coat with Nikwax in the washing machine.

NOTE: Check your coat for colourfastness and wash on the temperature recommended on the manufacturers label. I am sharing how I reproofed our RAB Firewall coats and can't guarantee that it will be the same as for your coat.
