What time do athletes wake up? Short answer, when they've recovered.

But how can you improve your sleep, in order to improve your performance?

In this video, I simply highlight 6 great tips backed by research for improving your sleep, and answer the question, how much sleep do athletes need?

Some say that pro athletes sleep 12 hours a day, but if the quality of that sleep is not high, then this can just be considered time spent in bed.

These sleep tips aren't just for athletes - these apply to all aspects of performance, the better you recover the better you can perform.

Now how much sleep a teenage athlete, student-athlete and fully grown athlete will need will vary, but only you can find this true optimum time for yourself, but again I repeat, it comes down to the quality.

These sleep tips for athletes will see your performance increase regardless of what you're trying to perform in, whether it be endurance, strength, power, implement the 6 tips into your life, and watch the difference it will make.
