Women Empowerment Award 2023 - Ingrid Briggiler

Female entrepreneurs play a key role in the fight against poverty and in advancing the development of the regions in which they operate. Therefore, the Bayer Foundation's Women Empowerment Award aims to help female entrepreneurs and their social enterprises generate social impact in the Global South (Latin America, Africa and the Middle East, and Asia Pacific). This year, we celebrated our winners for the Latin America track: Cristina Campero, Daniella Castro, Ingrid Briggiler, Elisa Violeta Bertini, and Sávia Gavazza in Rio de Janeiro as part of the Latimpacto Annual Conference.

These female entrepreneurs drive social change through their innovative health, nutrition, and agricultural solutions. The awardees received a €25,000 cash prize along with participation in our tailored empowerment program including active investor feedback and access to our global alumni network.
