How We Can Fix Hawaii Before It’s Too Late (housing, education, the economy)

So I’ve heard it said that Hawaii just doesn’t work for everyone these days. That in its current state, Hawaii is broken. Maybe it used to work for more local people in the past, but now, does it feel like Hawaii is just a place for the rich and well-connected? Many locals have to make a choice: Stay in Hawaii and struggle, or pack it up and go to the mainland.

Rather than complain about how things have gotten worse in Hawaii, I’d like to offer three ways we can start making Hawaii a better place for more people by thinking differently about housing, education, and the economy.

Also, this video is not a criticism of our elected officials, but rather an offering of suggestions on how we can think differently in solving our unique problems in Hawaii. So here's hoping to a better future, but it's going to take more than just hope.
