🇮🇳 India’s fifth-generation stealth fighter the AMCA (Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft) is finally entering its prototype phase, marking a historic leap in Indian aerospace.

Seven defence giants HAL, L&T, Tata Advanced Systems, Adani Defence, and others have submitted bids to build the first prototype.

Out of them, two firms will be selected and funded with ₹15,000 crore to develop five prototypes before full-scale production.

⚙️ Key Highlights:
Total project value: ₹2 lakh crore
Planned fleet: 125 stealth fighters by 2035
Capabilities: Twin-engine, internal weapons bay, AI-powered avionics
Ceiling: 55,000 feet operational altitude
Future versions to include an indigenous Indian engine

With this, India joins the elite club of the US, China, and Russia nations capable of developing fifth-gen stealth aircraft.
