What To Bring To A Meeting With A Buyer

Описание к видео What To Bring To A Meeting With A Buyer

A few videos ago, we talked about how to get a tangible product on the shelves in different locations around the store, and to test that product in different locations around the store. When you walk into a buyer meeting, make sure to walk in with your tangible product, complete packaging, and knowing that when you are on the clip strip, you hold X amount of units per week. When you were on the shelf, you sold X amount of units per week. When you were on the check stand, you sold X amount of units per week. Knowing that information, knowing your packaging, and knowing the versatility within your packaging is gonna be essential to really nailing that big box buyer meeting.

When a buyer approaches you, they're probably gonna have a few ideas about where the product is gonna fit around the store. Knowing that your product is versatile enough to be presented in different locations is going to be a great competitive advantage over the five other people that are pitching like products for that slot in the store. Knowing that your product has been tested in that location is gonna be vital, and knowing that you've already tested the retail pricing, and you know that the product is going to sell. Those steps are going to be essential for getting the product and the packaging conveyed to the big box buyer that this is going to work in the store.
