Materials list:
10 Buckets of Lava
10 Sticky Pistons
10 Blue Ice
10 Soul Soil ******** (MAKE SURE THIS IS SOIL NOT SAND)
2 Redstone Comparators
2 Redstone Repeaters
2 Pistons
1 Redstone Block
14 Hoppers
29 Redstone Dust
23 Solid Blocks
1 Lever
4 Dirt (Can be any item, preferably renamed)
80 Glass (Can be any block, but Glass helps to see what's going on)
6 Wood Planks (Can be any blocks that take long to break with a pick axe in case of user error)
2 Chests

For optional larger storage you need:
2 Hoppers
4 Chests

Extra layer:
4 more Hoppers (6 extra total)
8 more Chests (12 extra total)

Optional:
Efficiency V Pickaxe
Haste 2 Beacon

**Note the rates are a lot faster in the nether, in which case simply place less dirt (sorting item inside the Etho Hopper clock) i.e reduce the number of dirt from 4 to 3 or 2 depending on your server connection and lag.

On a similiar Note: depending on your server connection you might have to add more dirt inside the Etho Hopper clock. Add one extra dirt and test it out, rinse and repeat if the problem persists.
