Community Xperiences Virtual Round Table - "Why a Tech Test?"

The reason I wanted to run this is since Covid I have noticed an increased number of technical tasks being sent to developers, with some having 5 or 6 on the go at one time! What I keep hearing time and time again is that perhaps their best work is not making it to prospective employers as they juggle work commitments, family life and multiple and often lengthy technical tests.

I thought it would be a good idea to get some of us together in the industry to discuss ideas & tips for candidates on what businesses are looking for, some justification as to why you do them, or why not in some cases, how long should be spent on them, managing multiple tests & just some general advice that could help both candidates & businesses.

The aim is to record the session so it can be broken down in to segments. From there we can share the key talking points to help those currently in need of a new role or struggling with this predicament.
