Swedish mid century carpet by Ingegerd Silow

Recently, we were lucky to find this amazing rug in a local thrift store. ‘Hortensia’ was designed by the Swedish textile artist Ingegerd Silow (1916-2005), and it’s definitely one of our favorites among all of her beautiful patterns. It will need some minor repairs in the future, but that’s quite fine since we paid less than $20. For now, it’s a perfect gem on the floor in our bedroom.
