The recent leaked minutes of meetings with General Authorities demonstrated that Mormon Bishops and Stake Presidents have been instructed to be more "specific and explicit" in worthiness interviews about sexual matters. Ironically, this leak occurred the same week a Catholic Priest was discovered asking those very questions of students. The Priest was immediately removed from his post. What does this difference of policy and culture tell us about how each of these groups have come to terms with the realities of sexual predators, the concept of grooming and the need for policies which prioritize safety over authority?
