A perfect back-to-school throwback to August 12, 2003. This is a special segment from CTV's E Talk Daily, introduced by host Tanya Kim, featuring the cast of Degrassi sharing their school memories and tips.

This clip has a personal history. I originally ripped this directly from CTV.ca back in the day for my fansite, Degrassi-Fans.com, which I ran from 2004 to 2006.

In this fun on-set segment, cast members Ryan Cooley, Miriam McDonald, Melissa McIntyre, Adamo Ruggiero, Jake Epstein, Cassie Steele, Shane Kippel, and Andrea Lewis get real about their school experiences:

Back to School Essentials: The cast discusses essentials like back-to-school shopping, getting the right locker, and Miriam McDonald's hilarious theory of a "black market of white out."

Most Embarrassing Moments: The cast recalls getting lost and tripping in the mud on the first day.

Favorite Memories: The cast reminisces about the excitement of seeing friends again and the surprise of finding out who their new teachers would be.

(Archivist's Note / Fun Fact: Astute fans will notice that most of the cast are wearing the same outfits from the Degrassi x UNICEF 'Give it Up 4 Kids' PSA campaign. This strongly suggests that this E Talk Daily segment was filmed on the very same day, providing a fantastic behind-the-scenes look at a busy press day for the cast.)
