Le Chatelier's Principle (20 Min) - equilibrium shift, inert gas, effect on eq

Описание к видео Le Chatelier's Principle (20 Min) - equilibrium shift, inert gas, effect on eq

When a stress is applied, system will readjust to relieve that applied stress. Firstly, if something was added to a system, it will use up that added material as soon as possible by moving direction. Secondly, if something was removed from a system, it will replace that area that was removed as soon as possible by moving direction. The table in the video identifies the particular stress, its relation to an equilibrium shift and its relation to an effect on equilibrium. In the table, it is important to note that there are some factors that may not affect the equilibrium shift. They are a catalyst and inert gas. A catalyst will never result in a shift in equilibrium but an inert gas may or may not result in an equilibrium shift depending on whether we are dealing with a constant pressure or constant volume.
