• ST-03 12th class pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
Skill Test Norms:
• Dictation : 10 mts 80 w.p.m
• Transcription : 50 mts (English)/ 65 mts (Hindi) (only on computers)

Pay Scale:

• Level 4 in Pay Matrix (Pre- revised Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs.2400/-)

Selection Procedure for Stenographer Posts :

• A stenographic test (English / Hindi)) for 10 mts @80 w.p.m will be conducted by an expert agency such as I.S.T.M. A transcription time of 50 mts (English) and 65 mts (Hindi) on computer may be given.
• The name (s) of candidate placed in the merit list will be considered by the DPC for assessing his/her suitability to the post.
