Street Fighter II': Special Champion Edition (Genesis) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

A playthrough of Capcom's 1993 versus-fighting game for the Sega Genesis, Street Fighter II': Special Champion Edition.

Played through with Ken on the hardest difficulty level. I didn't lose any rounds and got the best ending.

It's pretty insane how close graphically this hits the feel of the arcade. Unless you put it side-by-side with the SNES or the TG16 versions, it's not often that lack of on-screen colors sticks out (which is certainly not the case in many Genesis games ported from more capable platforms). Otherwise, it's just as good as any of the other versions. Just make sure that you have the 6-button pad. It's not really worth the effort otherwise.
