Ok, so in this video, we continue our discussion of stems. We cover how to make stems, also called “printing” stems. This is very much just an overview of the basic idea, so I recommend checking out information on how to print stems within your specific DAW after watching this video. Also, keep in mind that I’m speaking from the perspective of a mix engineer receiving files for a mix, and not so much from someone receiving files for placement in TV and film. Anyway, this video is basically covering a handout that I made on how to print stems for my clients.
