Warfare with Principalities in the Spiritual Realm

The recipe for regional revival is humility, repentance, and prayer, not taking trips to the second heavens. Preaching the good news is the greatest form of spiritual warfare.

1. God scattered everyone over the face of the earth. Genesis 11v9

2. God divided nations and gave them to His sons. Deuteronomy 32v8-9

3. God’s sons (Elohim “gods”) who were assigned to those nations became corrupt. Psalm 82v1-2, Psalm 82v6-7

4. God’s sons led the nations to worship them instead of God. Deuteronomy 32v16-17

5. God judged the gods of Egypt for mistreating His children. Exodus 12v12

6. Territorial principalities oppose God’s work on the earth. Daniel 10v13, 20

7. Jesus’ death disarmed principalities and powers. Luke 4v6, Colossians 2v15

8. Jesus now holds all legal authority over the nations, we are sent to claim them for God. 2 Corinthians 10v4-5, 2 Chronicles 7v14, 1 Timothy 2v1-4
9. Our authority against the ruling principality is limited to self-defense not a direct confrontation in their domain.

Be in the Word. Eph 6v17
Be prayerful. Eph 6v18

10. We will replace the ruling principalities to rule nations with Jesus. Matthew 24v47, 2 Timothy 2v12
