Today I'm frying some ripe sweet 🍌Plantains🍌, as a sweet treat for dessert. They were REALLY GOOD!!! I was pleasantly surprised!!! As these are completely NEW to ME, other than doing my test cook, prior to filming, they are delightful!!! Please leave me a comment if you've cooked or eaten them before, either sweet or savory, and/or have any suggestions of other ways to prepare them!!! Im ALWAYS open to making NEW dishes!!! They turned out very good and were quite YUMMY😁!!! I will make them again and again!!! I will also be making Tostones, (a savory version of Plantains) in an upcoming video, its formed into a little cup, it's savory with salt and shrimp, and another that's made with meat and eggs using partially ripe fried, then formed, Plantains as the "bowl" for the egg and meat mixture! 1. I was having a hard time finding how to Air-Fry using the type of Air-Fryer I have, mine is a Power Air-Fryer Pro Oven, it's different than the basket type Air-Fryers.
2. I wanted to leave a legacy for my children and grandchildren of our FAMILY recipes, ALL in ONE PLACE, where they wouldn't get LOST, or thrown AWAY, like my MOTHER'S did..😢
3. For anyone else who was interested, and to teach young cooks basics and simple meals they can feel confident and PROUD of the meals they make and serve!!! So here I AM!!! My You-Tube channel was born with the HELP of my youngest to date granddaughter!!! She set it up for ME!!! Since then I've learned a lot and gotten better, however, there's STILL a LOT to learn, and SO MUCH MORE to SHARE!!!
