A story from one of the Majuli's sandbar (sapori), located in the Brahmaputra River in Assam, India; where we met a local cattle owner who daily visits his herd of cows and buffalos, staying at the cattle pen in this sandbar.

As we made our way through the sandbar, we had witnessed the stunning natural beauty of the area and we had also a chance to interact with the cattle owner Mr. Bipul Dutta who described us how the cattle are raised, and the important role they play in the island's agriculture and economy.

We had also learnt about the unique challenges faced by the people of Majuli, including the threat of erosion and climate change. Despite these obstacles, the people of Majuli have persevered and continue to maintain their way of life.
